That makes skiing a challenge in some areas (but still achievable with practice), and leads people toward using more vehicles for certain situations. The vehicles are set up to allow definite tactical advantages when used correctly. For instance, the Shrike can overfly areas and add everything it "sees" into the sensor grid. The Jericho is a heavy-duty vehicle that can be moved to a forward position and set up as a mobile base. And of course, the Thundersword...everyone loves using the bomber.[/BLOCK]
