Dave Perry: "The PS3 is the best machine"
Posted on Thursday, 8 March 2007 by Zwan, source: GamesIndustry.biz
Dave Perry, the man that gave us Earthworm Jim, MDK 1 & 2, Messiah, Sacrifice, Enter The Matrix and The Matrix: Path of Neo, said in an interview with GamesIndustry that he believes the PlayStation 3 is the most powerful console. Perry: "The best piece of hardware, without question".
He adds that it can take a few years before developers can use all of the untapped potential. According him, that's normal and he states God of War for PS2 as an example.
"I haven't seen anything even close to what the machine's capable of doing," he claimed. "So that's the sad part for Sony - I feel really bad for them that somebody hasn't really stepped up to show us the hardware all singing, all dancing."

It's not that Fragland doesn't post good news about the PS3. It's that there actually isn't much of it.
As for those games, if by Messiah you mean dark messiah of might and magic, well, the combat system in that game was far better than oblivion, although the scripted main quest and lack of any other quests really made that game short and not worth it.
The other games don't even figure in my 'shit' list. So the opinion of some random guy who has spewed a bunch of crap games off a production line doesn't really matter tbh...
