Another show that digital distribution definitely isn't flawless.
Deep Silver's Dead Island was released through various channels, and one of those was Steam. However, users of Valve's digital distribution software in the US were in for a not so nice surprise when they downloaded the game: the publisher has confirmed that the version uploaded to the service was actually a pre-release.
