Dead Rising 2 not official

Yesterday, we reported that Dead Rising 2 is officially coming to the Xbox 360. Now, this looks like a mistake. A French website took the information from the rumour column as a fact. Unfortunately, it's still "just" a rumour.

There has been no official announcement of a sequel to Dead Rising," said Chris Kramer, director of public relations Capcom Entertainment. "Any rumors of an official announcement are erroneous. The Famitsu article was part of its rumor column, not a news story. Additionally, we will not be making any announcements at tomorrow's Gamer's Day."

Will there be a sequel? "We have not made any announcements about a Dead Rising sequel.

They are not confirming the fact that there will be a sequel. However, we think it's just a matter of time. After all, the sales of Dead Rising were good, so why not make a successor. What do you think?
