Famitsu lets us know this week that Dead Rising 2 is official. The game will be released exclusively for Xbox 360, as expected.

Hopefully though this time round it will give you more freedom and give you a town or city to play in, as much as i enjoyed the homage to Dawn of the Dead it was a tiny bit frustrating knowing you would never leave the mall, flying over the town at the start was a real tease.
