Dead Space movie in the works
The film will be directed by D.J. Caruso, known from Eagle Eye. Next up are the producers Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey who are currently also doing the Gears of War movie and are known for several productions like I-Robot, AVP and more recently Twilight.
Electronic Arts is still looking for a screenwriter to produce something decent so they can sign off on the creative direction of the movie. When this is done, they can start auctioning off the rights to studios. Most likely this will happen somewhere in September.
