Def Jam: Fight for New York is the hard-core bad-arse sequel to Def Jam Vendetta (PS2 review) - I got the chance to play a beta-version behind closed doors at E3 2004. Unfortunately for Electronic Arts, I was not impressed.

A lot has happened since May and a lot has happened to the gameplay as well - the multiplay is quite fun actually, except when you get your butt kicked by your own girlfriend :(

But not too worry, you will have the chance to read up on the gameplay soon in an inhouse Xbox review. This saturday on the other hand, the boys and girls from Electronic Arts teamed up with the TMF CoolSweat crew in the Vooruit in Ghent (Belgium) to throw a party for all the cool R 'n B homeboys and -girls.The EA crew had a whole area set up with 6 PS2 consoles - one of them was even hooked up to a projector for some bigscreen fighting fun. As you can see, the homies were having fun competing against in other in some good, clean and honest fightin'fun. What's more, even the ...(forgive me)... local bitches and 'hos were having fun, fighting for some New York territory.Needless to say, yours truely created himself a bad mutha-character to do some major ass-whooping in Ghent. You got to admire his beautiful blue eyes :)It was quite a fun evening, where the CoolSweat visitors got ample chance to play a game with one of the best soundtracks ever.

All in all a good initiative from EA - and if you don't agree with me, I'll send Bubba to your home to explain my words in detail :)
