Delayed: Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Following the announcement of its latest financials, Square-Enix has decided to delay Deus Ex 3: Human Revolution.
The company has announced that its full net profits for the current fiscal year will be 90% less than originally expected due to slow sales and less than great reviews from critics regarding its major titles that were released earlier this year. As a result of that, the publisher has decided to give some additional development time to Deus Ex 3: Human Revolution and Final Fantasy XIV (for the PS3) to make sure these titles don't suffer from the same problems their other top titles had.

As a result of that, the publisher has decided to give some additional development time to Deus Ex 3: Human Revolution and Final Fantasy XIV (for the PS3) to make sure these titles don't suffer from the same problems their other top titles had.
Square Enix said in a statement it is delaying the rollout of the latest installment in its "Deus Ex" game series until the financial year starting in April. It had initially planned the launch for the January-March quarter.
The company is also postponing the launch of "Final Fantasy 14" for Sony's PlayStation3 game console for an unknown period. The game was originally slated to hit store shelves in March in Japan.
"We came to realize that our management priority is to improve the development of our digital-entertainment products," the company said in the statement.
Deus Ex 3: Human Revolution was originally set for release in the first quarter of next year and will now be arriving in shops between April and June.The company is also postponing the launch of "Final Fantasy 14" for Sony's PlayStation3 game console for an unknown period. The game was originally slated to hit store shelves in March in Japan.
