Developer Infinite Interactive has announced Warlords V, the next game in the turnbased strategy series (that also spawned a 2D rts spin-off with the Battlecry games).

They didn't hand out a big press release yet but they acknowledge it is in (early) development and a little FAQ has been posted some time already about the project status. You don't need to expect the game to come out this year yet nor is there already an agreement with a publisher. One of the big features will be modding options apparently.

So, HoMM V isn't the only Master of Magic-clone to look forward to.
