DiRT 2 heading for PC in December

Codemasters today announced that PC version of Colin McRae: DiRT 2 will hit retail in December and that it will be DirectX 11 ready.

Codies claim that the opportunities of DirectX 11 are 'too nice to be ignored' so they pushed back the release of the PC version to implement those features and wait for the hardware to be released.

This will give PC players something worth the extra wait compared to the console versions which will already hit retail in September on Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS and Playstation Portable
