Diablo 3 not the end of the series

More Diablo to come after Diablo 3

Although Diablo III will be the end of the trilogy, it won't be the end of the Diablo games. At least, not if we can believe lead designer Jay Wilson.

Speaking with MTV, the designer stated that although Diablo III will be the end of the current storyline, more ideas set in the Diablo universe are being worked on.

“We’re not saying this is the end of the ‘Diablo’ universe, but we are trying to bring this storyline to a close,” Wilson said. “It’s not just ‘Diablo III’ — we’ve got plans beyond.”
