Digital Jesters do not have Monte Cristo!

Not so long ago, troubled UK publisher Digital Jesters stated they formed up with Myriad to create a new company called "The DJ Group" which would not only include themselves but also Monte Cristo.
Seems they were one step further than their partners however as Monte Cristo today sent out a press release that the only thing they have going with Digital Jesters is that the DJ Group is appointed for distribution of Monte Cristo's games and are everything but a "label" of the group.
Well, it seems the bad news just isn't stopping for Digital Jesters...

"Monte Cristo is an independent company which has appointed Digital Jesters to distribute part of our portfolio of games in the United Kingdom. This is our only link with Digital Jesters," commented Jerome Gastaldi, CEO of Monte Cristo.
"In addition, our relationship with Digital Jesters is currently at a standstill. Despite firm commitment from a representative of the new investors, their financial promises are not being met at the present time."
