Direct2Drive Champions Online details released

The details of the Direct2Drive download of Champions Online have been released.

Players who pre-order the game through the site not only get a guaranteed invite for the open beta organized by Gamespy, but also an exclusive costume piece called Mechanoppendage Backpack.

Mechanoppendage Backpack: A multi-armed, multi-use backpack for the on-the-go gadgeteer. Ideal for heroes who juggle ideas, experiments—and enemies!
