There are troubles in technology-paradise. For quite some time, Creative Labs, among gamers especially known for their qualitative technological products like the Soundblaster soundcard, speakers and mouses, also knows success with their MP3 players.

More strongly even, before the release of the Apple iPod, Creative was the worldwide marketleader concerning portable musicplayers that could contain lots of mp3's.

A year and a half ago, the cards changed when iPod started an enormous growth. At this moment, Apple even has a marketshare of an estimated 80% in the area of MP3 players.

Despite the fact that MP3 players still sell very well, not everything is going great for both companies because Creative stated from the beginning that Apple copied their intuitive and user-friendly service system!
