Doom 3 benchmark soon ?

Warp2Search.net is reporting that as part of their deal with ID Software, nVidia will soon be releasing a Doom 3 benchmark tool
Just a heads up for everybody that a little birdy tells me ( This is Rumour at the Moment) that Nvidia as part of their Deal with id Software should have a DOOM 3 benchmark utility ready to download on their website a couple of weeks before id Software releases DOOM 3 to see if your current system can handle the presssure!
In related news, German magazine PCGames Hardware has had a Q&A with John Carmack who's given some info on Doom3's system requirement:
  • A video card with at least 128MB RAM and Pixel Shader 1.1 support is required for DOOM 3.
  • A 2.5GHz CPU should be enough for the stencil shadows and physics calculations.
    • Guess a lot of people will need to get some new hardware to play Doom 3...
