Doom movie soon on DVD and UMD
If you missed the profound movie Doom (*grin*) in the theatres, don't panic. On February 7 it hits the market on DVD and UMD. So even your PSP isn't save for this First Person Movie.
The DVD will also be available in an unrated version with extra scenes and of course lots of extras, like 'behind the scene'-images. There is nothing known about a European release, but there probably won't be a lot of difference.
Universal has announced that the recent film adaptation of id Software's first person shooter Doom will be released on DVD Feb. 7. The movie will be released in its original R rated version (full-screen) and an unrated version with new footage (full screen and widescreen). The DVD will also have a number of behind-the-scenes features from the movie. Doom will also be released on UMD (for Sony's PSP game console) on the same day but most likely will not have any extra features.
