Dragon Quest IX goes DS
Surprising news from Square-Enix. Dragon Quest 9 won't be heading for the PS3 or Wii, the newest part of this popular Japanese series will be released on the Nintendo DS.
The makers emphasise that DQ9 isn't a go-between title but a full part of the series of classic Dragon Quest games and will make good use of the possibilities the DS offers like Wi-Fi so you will be able to play together with three friends.
The game should arrive in Japanese stores in 2007, an international release date will follow.
