Reflection's Driv3r ... probably the biggest disappointment of last year. After two great games, they released an unfinished game full of bugs and sloppy gameplay. The game sold very well however, due to the high expectations everyone had. I don't think anyone was expecting such an outrage from Reflections and publisher Atari.

However, now they seem to wanna make up for it, and so we've received the announcement of Driver 4. Remarkably, next to a PC version, the game will also be released on the current generation of consoles, being Playstation 2 and Xbox. No PS3 or Xbox 360 it seems. The game should be in stores in early 2006 already.

Reflections also promised to return to the roots of Driver, which means a lot of driving, no (or just a little) running around and shooting. And that we like to hear. The city were all the action will be this time, is New York. Yes, for the first time in Driver history, you'll only get one city to race through. They better make a really big apple out of it then. ;)
