Dual Shock 3: Sony doesn't care about Europeans?

Posted on Thursday, 3 April 2008 by Speed, source: Eurogamer
Japan is enjoying it already. US will have fun with it probably next week. And what about us, Europeans? Sony "doesn't know".

Indeed, we're talking about the new Dual Shock 3 controllers for the PS3 that are coming, but when it will arrive in Europe seems to be a total mystery.

Sony has told Eurogamer that it still has no word on when DualShock 3 will be released in Europe.

This follows celebrations across the pond, where the rumble-equipped pads will go on sale next week - slightly earlier than expected.
Great work! Seems Sony looks at Europe as their waste basket for old technology where they can dump everything they can't get rid of anymore in Japan or US.

Apparently the EU is going to change all of this buy forcing big companies to reduce prices. Maybe they'll moan about release dates too..?

You know, as an American I always did wonder why the games industry tends to screw Europe over. I know you guys pay alot more for your stuff (especially with the crappy value of the dollar now). Maybe its some weird logistical thing, or something to do with how the law allows them to operate.
