Duke Nukem does December?

The latest rumour about the release date of 3D Realms' Duke Nukem Forever comes from The Inquirer who are reporting that Amazon has put up the game with as release date December 2, 2005.

We don’t believe that Amazon plans to trick its customers - it's not its style and the customers can sue if it fails. The game is listed as a ₤24.99 title and we are surely thrilled if this all comes true. The engine and the effects might be outdated but it's all about the game play and we can expect some cool jokes once the game is out

Well, here's a joke already: 3D Realms has been working for ages on this title

Everybody has so big expectations for the game and it has been overhyped beyond everything, so when it eventually comes out, it will probably be a big disappointment.

eum... overhyped? overhyped my ass, DNF ain't overhyped, there are just so many sources who THINK they know the release but they don't. Are there screens? Is there a CONFIRMED release date? No, and also no hype (not by 3drealms). When will DNF be released? When it's done (when 3drealms says it) and i just know it will kick ass :)

well, I think it WAS overhyped, but let's be honest - one can hardly say that DNF is still hyped. It's rather 'joked about'.

Still, I hope they make it a good game. As far as I'm concerned, they can pull a 'Doom III' on us, I'd love it.
