Duke gets his own movie, groovy!
One quote in particular made me quite happy:
“I'm working diligently at making a Duke Nukem movie scenario that will live up to the character and its import in the videogame world,” said Faye. “As is the case with all of my game adaptations, I'd rather not make the movie than make a poor adaptation.”
Not much info on the project was given so we don't know who will try to live up to the legend but at least he made some promises."We're expanding Duke's 'storyverse' in a very significant major way without abandoning or negating any element that's being used to introduce Duke to the next gen platforms."
Faye also got some word on a possible Max Payne movie sequel stating that Mark Wahlberg seemed quite interested in the project.All I hope for is that Faye isn't a douche like Uwe Boll, because it's one thing to mess up the Dungeon Siege movie, but he who screws the Duke will probably die a horrible death.
