Duke will last Forever

The day someone tells me Duke Nukem Forever is available at the local game shop, I'll just race over there because I'll have to see it to believe it. Even after all these year the boys over at 3D Realms still haven't given up.

On the contrary, they're more ambitious than ever! An insider spoke to GameGuru and released a little bit of information. The developers are said to have been working very hard last year and they've been doing so exclusively on the PC-version. Does this imply a console version? Indeed it does...

The gameplay is being pepped up with attitude, killing a mutated pig with a 8 ball stick never felt so good, a console version is also being planned upon simultaneously, and expect further announcements around some big gaming expos next year.

Apart from that he gave more details on the game itself. The same humorous gameplay, known from Duke Nukem 3D, will be back in all its glory going from the shrinking weapon to squishing the tiny opposition.

If the gameplay is really going to resemble that of Duke Nukem 3D, we're in for a treat!

Release planned 2008! And that's no joke...

Would be nice to be able to play it before I'm forced to move into a retirement home...

My hope is that someday in the future my great grandchildren will hear of a possible estimated release date.

The game will be released, it will be a huge disappointment and will fail miserably.

The game probably doesn't exist, for a game that has little evidence of existing, it certainly is producing a lot of attention. Its free advertisement, why would they release it? :P

If this is only a "spartime project" then why all the hype. People make psychedelic pong games as "spare ttime projects"...

The fact is this game is over-rated, over-hyped and very unlikely to be released next year.
