Dungeons & Dragons Online rolls off the presses

Posted on Monday, 13 February 2006 by Doccie, source: Fragland
Dungeons & Dragons Online , up until now in development with Turbine, Inc. is completed and it's gold disc already sent out to the presses. At the end of February all servers will be fully operational and we'll be able to MMORPG like we've never MMORPGd before!

"We're thrilled to have developed a game that appeals to massively multiplayer players, as well as fans of the original pen-and-paper game," said Jeffrey Anderson, president and CEO of Turbine, Inc. "We also want to thank the 300,000 players that registered for the Beta. We could not have done this without their support."

Those of you who've gotten bored with World of Warcraft or Everquest 2 should definetely check out this title.

I wouldnt say great!.. The game is cool and for the first week addictive, but it soon loses it come back for more factor, Ive played the beta.. A world of Instances! Sucks, Why the hell should we pay a monthly fee for a virtually 100% instance MMO?! Plus no crafting..tradeskills!?? poke it!! World of warcraft still is the most playable, social, and long term MMO i found, (apart from Eve) :) , I wont bother with it and alot of my mates wont either! no matter how much a die hard D&D fan i am....

I was being sarcastic hence the rolls eyes at the end. Of course it isn't great, MMO's are popping up all over the place, and they just steal your money, lol.

Or you could just keep playing WoW until Pirates of the Burning Sea comes out. Or heck, even RF On-line...
