As if a trailer of Halo 3 wasn't enough, Microsoft had this brilliant idea of making this pretty expensive promotional movie with real actors. Under the guidance of director Neill Blomkamp, the movie shows how a platoon of Marines is being geared up for war by receiving Pelican dropships, Warthog jeeps and a lot of guns.

It looks like Neill Blomkamp can still occupy himself with Halo, because after the major movie companies pulled back from the Halo movie it's been awfully quiet around it. Maybe the success of Halo 3 could change their minds?

As a final word i want to mention that this movie does not indicate the quality of the previously mentioned Halo movie. Because it's a promotional video, the budget is a lot lower so they can't get all those nifty effects you normally see in similar movies :)
