On the other side of the Atlantic Ocean Microsoft's E3 press conference, the kick-off of E3, has just finished.

Eye-catchers included Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, Assassin's Creed and Rock Band. Microsoft promised that all games in the line-up will be released this year and most are planned for the Christmas holiday period.

Microsoft also wants to focus on gaming as a family bussiness: several 'family friendly' were introduced and on top of that XboxLive is supposed to improve and become faster, with soon a lot of new content (among others a great deal of movies).

Statistics to make Microsoft look good were not absent. For instance: more Xbox360 games were sold than Wii and PS3 games combined, the console itself sells better than the PS3, but the Wii does even better.

Two new editons of the Xbox360 console were presented: the black one with additional storage (it's finally heading for Europe) and a special Halo edition.

After an hour and a half of trailers, demos and promises the Microsoft men finally said goodbye to the public for the night.
