E3 07: Mario Kart for Wii announced

At it's E3 press conference, Nintendo has announced the next Mario Kart for Wii. The game will be geared towards the hardcore gamers but using easy-to-learn control methods and certain handicaps that new-comers can turn on to attract new gamers.

Off course the feature we all have been waiting for: Mario Kart Wii will be going online and with more then four people. Also the infamous Battle mode where you kill each others balloons will be online playable.

Especially for Mario Kart Wii, Nintendo wil be packing in a new peripheral that acts as the steering wheel. You click in the Wiimote inside and of you go. The game is meant to come out early 2008.
