E3 07: Sony press conference highlights*
Sony's press conference has ended minutes ago, there were a lot of games on display and some interesting new facts, so it's time for a list of the highlights!
PSP is getting a revised model! 33% lighter, 19% thinner. It will load faster and it has video-output. You can display about everything on your TV, even games! America will get two new PSP colors; Ice Silver and a customized Star Wars-PSP. Europe and Japan are also getting new colors, these may be different. A lot of focus on HOME, "Sony's Second Life". You can directly join multiplayer and singleplayer games or watch movies. Screenshots can be send live to a blog, and photo's from a mobile can go straight to a portret on your wall in HOME Singstar will be massively improved. You can buy new songs in the Singstore and MySingstarOnline is compared to MySpace. In total, this year there will be 200 BluRay-games in stores and 180 games downloadable via PlayStation Network. NCSoft made a deal with Sony and will develop Sony-exclusive games for PS3- and PSP. Interesting deal with Midway. The new Unreal engine has been optimized for PS3, and UTIII will be PS3- and PC-exclusive for this year! MGS4 will be the last MGS. The story will end here, every mystery will be solved. It will be Hideo Kojima's last work and he will make sure to put all his effort in it.
