E3 Booths: Deep Silver
Posted on Thursday, 19 May 2005 by Speed, source: Fragland.net
Deep Silver are located at the Jowood Booth. They had several things on display, here's a quick rundown :
Rush to Berlin : RTS in the style of Stalingrad including alternative WW2 storyline, fully destroyable buildings and weather effects that affect units much like how it's done in Empire Earth 2. Doesn't look bad at all but honestly it doesn't really excell either. There are many games like this one out there.
Heart of Empire Rome : Historians will probably love this. Think of Sim City but instead of making some unnamed city, you can create ancient Rome. People of course need to be kept happy at all times and try not to get Rome burnt to the ground. You can zoom in up to the level that you can follow any inhabitant but overall things don't look so spectacular on the graphical side.
X3: Reunion : Talking about spectacular graphics... X3 will blow you away !
Kingdom under Fire: Heroes : A rather peculiar game as it combines RTS with action. While you command your army, you'll have to fight yourself aswell.
Huge armies are available and several "heroes" are at your disposal to make sure you can do some decent damage to your opponent's army. This Xbox game will also feature multiplayer for up to 6 people over XBox Live!
The heroes look decent, but the graphics definitely still need to be upgraded a bit.
