Before my colleague Zwan gets the chance to mystify your minds with wonderful stories, fairy-tales and unbelievable gypsy legends, allow me to elaborate on day 2 of our 'Fragland goes E3... again' adventure.


After a long, hard yet decisive meeting of the top Fragland Bosses (organised much like the Sicilian Cosa Nostra), we went towards our hotel for a well-deserved nights rest. Luckily, as you can see on the picture, a well-known Dutch brand of beer was already ostracised from our hotel. Rest assured, dear Belgian readers, the Fragland Cosa Nostra is doing its best to introduce the wonderful ale known as Stella Artois into the refrigerators of this establishment.

That night, Zwan dreamed of what every boy would dream about after a visit to the local Hollywood Hooters bar. I shall not disgress on what we hear Zwan do that night... let me just say... a picture says more than a thousand words !

Yours truely suggested a visit to the world-reknowned Six Flags amusement park. After all, what are a bunch of guys to do on a sunday in sunny California but search for some decent healthy girls ? Alas... two Fragland editors prefered the company of men and wanted to ... shop (no, this is not a typo !).

A 20 minute taxi-ride later, we arrived on a people-packed Santa Monica beach / shopping promenade. It was there that we discovered what the modernday concept of what a 'METRO-MAN' is... Dear readers, a metro-man is a man who not only has a shopping addiction, but especially an abnormaly large and unhealthy shoe-fetish !!!!

Why unhealthy ? Because all that shopping was gradually deteriorating Speeds infamous good mood... and it was killing his back.
No worries though, after a quick visit to the world-famous yet disturbingly disappointing Santa Monica Pier (where time stood still and where fat lazy Americans flock in a feeble attempt to disperse of their sunday boredom), we were off to our usual watering-hole again... Hollywood Hooters. If you're wondering: yes, Zwan applied some pressure to the rest of the party to visit that particular bar again.
