We arrived at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) about 2 hours before the opening of the expo itself. From the outside the LACC looks enormous ! Now, all builldings here in LA are a bit larger than we Europeans are used to, but the LACC is simply huge. From one side to the other it takes you a good fifteen minute walk - on the outside of the building that is, if you try to reach the other side from within the building with people walking around it will take you three times as long.

As you notice on the picture there's a gigantic banner of Atari (or 'the artists formerly known as Infogrames') welcoming all participants to E3. Another big banner makes a reference to the upcoming release of The Matrix Reloaded.

After clearing some security checks -America is still scared of bad people- and once you get inside the building you enter the hall where all major publishers try to draw your attention to recently released or soon-to-be released games.

But all of that is not that important 'cause here is the entrance of what we are really here for:
