Nintendo failed miserably, but luckily we also had Sony to make up for it.

Here's what the console giant had to show off with at their press conference:

Uncharted 2: multiplayer beta kicks of tonight at midnight. The trailer that was shown apparently kicked ass

MAG: Live 256 player multiplayer game shown. During E3 there's going to be a constant battle at the floor. Sounds great.

PSP: Hanna Montana lilac colored PSP bundle announced

PSP Go: Not be replacement of current PSP but more additional model. 50% smaller than original PSP, 16GB built-in memory with more that can be added. Games and movies to be downloaded through Wi-Fi. Retail price 249,99 (dollars as well as euros)

Gran Turismo: shown on PSP Go, running at 60 frames per second. 800 cars. 35 tracks. 60 layouts of those tracks. 4 player multiplayer. Coming October 1st.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker: coming to PSP in 2010. Takes place in 1970s after MGS3. Apparently the "true" next step in Metal Gear Solid but seems to look like a PS2 game.

Resident Evil: Portable: created for PSP.

More PSP games: Little Big Planet, SOCOM, Motorstorm, Hanna Montana and Harry Potter. They all look better than the Metal Gear Solid game for PSP.

Agent: PS3-exclusive from Rockstar

Assassin's Creed 2: on store shelves for PS3 this holiday season. Apparently looks amazing

Final Fantasy XIII: doesn't impress

Final Fantasy XIV: Online: Online-only PS3 exclusive

Motion Control: the Wand introduced, controller with ball on top that can be tracked by the Playstation Eye. Demonstration kinda sucked but Sony kept nagging about how accurate it is.

ModNation Racers: Design your own Monkey Butler driver Avatar. Part of the "Play, Create, Share" line of games. You can even create your own soundtracks

The Last Guardian: third title in the series shown, it's the leaked Trico trailer.

Gran Turismo 5: teaser trailer shown but no more info

God of War 3: Coming March 2010 for PS3. Better graphics, looks awesome.

It appears that when it comes to Japanese companies, the score is Sony 1, Nintendo 0. At least for today.
