E3 - our second day

Posted on Wednesday, 14 May 2003 by DoubleD, source: Fragland
What can and should you do when visiting Los Angeles - movie capital of the world. Yup, enjoy some of that world renowned Hollywood glamour. With that thought in mind, we set of to Universal Studio's for what promised to be a fun-packed and not to mention bright and sunny day. Why, t20 was so excited he didn't even bother to shower ! One can only admire such youthful anticipation. This was our hotel room by the way.

Now, the kind people of Hollywood were expecting us (I send them a mail a couple of days in advance) so we were met with the grandeur, fit for only the biggest and most famous movie stars. On the first picture, you can see a nice big metal artwork that the boys over at Universal made to welcome us. It will stay there infinitely to commemorate my visit to the Studio's - at least, that's what they told me. The second picture is just a little something CoBraLorD likes to do from time to time... ventilate his armpits (apparently very popular in his part of the country).

The third picture here, being the one that made both CoBraLorD and myself famous. Unfortunately James Cameron was forced to work with Arnold Schwarzenegger because of some sex-scandal and he had to disappoint me at the last moment. Anyway, Universal Studio's were fun, a very large movie-theme park, no more no less. But we were very lucky to get a showing of the newest Shrek-attraction, normaly opening on may 23rd. Remember Waterworld? That very silly not to mention boring movie with and by Kevin Costner? Well, they re-enact some of the scenes in this giant basin ... thanks Allah it was more exciting than the movie was.

Lots of crazy things happen in this fun-filled over-the-top world-of-illusion. A prime example of that being shown on this picture. As you can see, CoBraLorD instantly forgot all about t20 as soon as he saw this beautiful creature called 'SpongeBob' (or something like that - please feel free to correct me) - the yellow thing just over his left shoulder. Also, please notice the sheer LUST in CoBraLorDs smile. Needless to say t20 was heart-broken.

In true over-the-top Hollywood-style we ended our Hollywood day with a very cool photoshoot. Although yours truly isn't what you would call a professional photographer, I managed to make some very cool pics. But t20 was still suffering from CoBraLorDs fling with the sponge-thing so I chose not to show you the pictures with t20s tearful eyes. The poor guy.

As you all know, E3 is all about previews. Well, let me give you one on our third day:

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this is me bowing humbly at the Hollywood-walk-of-fame Star ... of Hugh Hefner.

Lol, Spongebob Squarepants is a cartoon character. Since a few months he's on our television too, every morning in Nichelodeon on TMF. I have to confess that the cartoons are actually pretty good ;).
