EA: DICE is the best

Electronic Arts is clear on what their goals are: they want to reclaim the throne that was taken from them by Infinity Ward with Modern Warfare 2. And they believe they can do it thanks to DICE.

In fact, EA's product manager Will Graham said in an interview that DICE is doing what no other dev has ever done before and no other dev CAN do:
“We genuinely believe there isn’t a developer out there that competes with DICE in this space, and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is going cement that.

“The use of vehicles in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 sets it apart from the competition and no one else in the industry does this better
Whether DICE is better than Infinity Ward is not something I would like to discuss but it's clear that Modern Warfare 2 is the game to beat for EA and we'll know soon enough whether they manage to pull it off.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is set for release early March.

The funny thing is that everyone compare BC2 to MW2. BC2 will be and is (beta experience) a way better game than MW2.

Ironically the guys who founded Infinity Ward and the Call of Duty series are the same guys who invented the Medal of Honor franchise back when they were on the studio 2015 which was acquired by EA. The IW guys just at one point figured they didn't need EA and all the hazzle with that big company, so they left 2015 and started their own company, IW, and with that EA really lost their footing on the military FPS scene, but they really want back in so they'll get there now with BCBF2 and the renewed Medal of Honor.
