EA acquires Bioware / Pandemic

EA has acquired Bioware/Pandemic through the VG Holding which EA took over for a mere 860 million dollar. In Euros or British Pounds however that amount of money is far less impressive.

The deal has yet to be officially approved but if everything goes according to plan, EA will be the owner of titles as Mass Effect, Mercenaries, Saboteur and and 'unknown' number of Wii and DS games from January 2008 on.
