If you were looking forward to a Marvel fighting game from EA then too bad for you.
We've already had Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects but while EA Chicago was working on a new fighting game based on the Marvel comics, it looks like it ain't gonna happen anymore.
I guess Capcom did quite a lot better with its Marvel vs. Capcom titles...

Electronic Arts today brought conclusive clarity to the future of its upcoming Marvel Comics-based fighting game formerly in development at EA Chicago.
It ain't happening.
"EA and Marvel have jointly agreed to discontinue development of the Marvel titles under the EA Games Label. This was a business decision based on EA's portfolio strategy," an Electronic Arts rep told GameTap today.
One game... one pretty lame game has come from the deal EA and Marvel had set up in 2004 and which was supposed to become a major selling licensing deal.It ain't happening.
