EA buys Headgate

Yahoo has received a press release from EA stating that the company has acquired Headgate studios which will be renamed to EA Salt Lake and will focus on creating games for Nintendo's Wii console.

Headgate studios has been working for EA already for several years with development of - amongst others - the Tiger Woods titles.
