EA confirms Spore Galactic Adventures

It has been rumoured for some time now and big online retailers like Amazon even have it listed for a March 2009 release, but it seems now that Electronic Arts has gone official by sending out invitations to an event for the US based gaming websites.

No further details on the game, developed by Maxis, have been given but there is a mention of a "Spore line-up for 2009" so it seems that there is a whole franchise in the pipelines for what must have been the most discussed game of 2008.
