EA cooking up a new release date

How bad can it be if a company's currently biggest cash-cow is getting hit? Pretty big if you ask me.

It seems that The Sims 3 has been delayed until further notice by Electronic Arts.

EA has stated they're currently "evaluating" the release of the game but for sure it won't make its previous February 20th release date.

“The game looks great and in the near future we'll have more information,” EA said

The Sims 3 is going to be of extreme importance to EA as their new franchises like Dead Space, Boom Blox even Spore didn't manage to meet sales expectations despite good reviews.

In this economy and industry why rush a game out the door if its a piece a crap and all it will do is make people complain that the "game sucks" or the "game isn't finished". Make it a better game and put on the finishing touches.
