EA explains PS3 delay of MoH: Airborne

A few days ago we could tell you that the Playstation 3 version of Medal of Honor: Airborne got delayed for a couple of extra months. Yesterday a representative of Electronic Arts answered in a telephone call with Next-gen what the reason for the delay was.

Executive producer Patrick Gilmore told Next-Gen in a phone interview today that the Airborne team had received PS3 dev kits “a little bit later” than Xbox 360 and PC, and those two SKUs have “always” been ahead of the PS3 version.

It seems that the main reason was simply because the development kits of the PS3 version came in later. Another reason is that they want to utilize the full power of the 'Sixaxis' feature on the PS3 controllers.
