EA giving BF3 players BF1943 after all
"It was all a misunderstanding" according to Electronic Arts.
Last Sunday we reported that EA not giving away a free copy of Battlefield 1943 to gamers who bought Battlefield 3 for PS3 enraged some so much that they started a class action lawsuit.
EA, however, isn't going to court over this one and will be giving the game away for free after all. The publisher claims it was all a misunderstanding and those who activated their BF3 pass this weekend will get the game. Europeans will be getting it first, followed by Americans (December 10th) and then Asian gamers (December 17)
