Billing issue costs people tons of money
Bugs can be annoying, but when they make you pay up to 22 times the normal amount for a month's subscription, "annoying" isn't really the right word anymore.

A bug in EA's Warhammer Online billing system has resulted in many players having to pay up to 22 times the amount for a month's subscription for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. Since yesterday, the Warhammer forums have been flooded with angry users that saw their subscription run up to $329.78 for one month.

Electronic Arts has acknowledged the "error" and are working to fix it:
We have confirmed with our vendor that players who have been charged multiple times for their subscriptions should start seeing a reversal of charges within 24-36 hours. We anticipate that once the charges have been reversed, any fees that have been incurred should be refunded as well.

To assist us in providing the best possible service please contact your financial institution prior to contacting EA Billing Support as we can only assist with resolving additional fees after you have been reimbursed.
I bet there's a lot of angry people out there now and I wonder what EA is going to do to prevent anyone from going to court (seeing as Americans tend to go to court for just about nothing)
