Joystiq is reporting that Warhammer Online developer Mythic Entertainment is the next victim in line to get some serious loving from the Electronic Arts axe. For now no development staff is getting the boot but customer support and QA were hit hard. All the play testers got to go home early too.

When asked for comments on this matter EA grunted like an ogre and used the well known 'no statements will be added to previous ones' meaning that they already send out a press release about them letting go 10% of their staff and that they don't plan to comments on rumours or which 10% of the employees will get the boot. As with Pandemic we will just have to wait and see if the rumours are true.
