First let me state that this is still a rumor and should be taken with a grain of salt.
Kotaku has received word that EA is planning to move their offices from California to Florida and that this move will go alongside with a major amount of layoffs.

Rumor has it that Electronic Arts is about to drop the bomb on a ton of employees. My network of tipsters is telling me that EA plans to announce big layoffs today and that the mass firings will be the first step in a move from Cali to sunny Florida.
