EA to cancel Need for Speed series?

No more racing from EA?

It seems that one of the first victims of the crisis at EA is going to be the Need for Speed series.

According to Electric Playground, unnamed sources have confirmed that Electronic Arts has decided to stop making new versions of the popular racing game. EA themselves have declined to comment so nothing is official yet and we best treat this as a rumour.

The first Need for Speed was launched back in 1994 and the series became increasingly popular until recent years when sales started to drop.

NFS6 was the last NFS which was good, i dont know why i feel sad about NFS is to be canceled. Maybe i still had/have hopes for it... :(
