Over at The Oakland Tribune is word that Electronic Arts wants to increase its market share in Asia which should reflect in 1 billion $ sales by 2010
"We have a fairly aggressive goal, and that's to have a billion-dollar business" in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, China, Korea, India and Taiwan, he said. Electronic Arts "absolutely" can reach the goal by 2010, he said.

Electronic Arts is looking to new markets such as mobile gaming and Asia as sales growth slows. The company on April 29 forecast sales to grow 15 percent in the year ending March 31, 2005, down from 19 percent last year. Expanding sales in Asia is the most important initiative, said Michael Pachter, who follows the company for Wedbush Morgan Securities in Los Angeles.
