EA: we haven't seen anything from Respawn yet
EA Partners head honcho David DeMartini has made it clear we shouldn't be expecting anything from their new studio, Respawn Entertainment, at E3. Reason: they're picking furniture.
DeMartini also said that recruitment for the studio is going pretty good and that EA is really excited with whatever the former Infinity Ward heads will come up with:
"We've seen absolutely nothing [from their new project] so far," EAP boss David DeMartini told CVG. "They have a space. We've been helping them get some furniture.
Everyone's gotta start somewhere I guess :)DeMartini also said that recruitment for the studio is going pretty good and that EA is really excited with whatever the former Infinity Ward heads will come up with:
"The guys are assembling a team, they're getting settled. Once they assemble that team, they'll sit down and talk about some ideas. We have no idea what they're going to come up with, but we have an inherent trust in their understanding of how to come up with great things - and that's what they're going to do. We're going to really appreciate being partners with them."
