Those of us who play EVE Online will soon no longer be able to choose between so called Premium, and Classic graphics.

In a recent dev blog CCP Zulupark, responsible for everything new, shiny or changed in the world of EVE, let know the development of the older graphics engine will be stopped. This would offer many advantages, the largest of which would be a better focus of available resources. For the customer this would mean they can expect quicker fixes, and better updates.

All well and good, but what about those of us who don't have a supercomputer? For those customers CCP would come up with a so called Premium Lite version. This version would offer improved performance through different texture qualities and the usage of a different Shader Model.
