Earth No More, by 3D Realms, a little...

Posted on Monday, 18 June 2007 by Speed, source: WP
While 3D Realms is of course hard at work on Duke Nukem Forever, they'll also be helping Recoil Games in the development of Earth No More.

Recoil Games, a Finnish development studio that mostly consists of former Remedy people (cfr. Max Payne) promises to become an action game that combines Aliens, Terminator and The Thing.

In an American village a new sort of crops appears that mutates everything, including plants and animals, that comes near it. Nature is fed up with humanity destroying its natural habitat and decides to take action. Reason enough to get into the body of one of five available characters, each with their own motive and speciality.

Next to a campaign, the game will also have multiplayer, both competitively and co-op. The game is expected in 2009 on PC, X360 and PS3 so a little patience is necessary.

As promised, 3D Realms didn't mention anything yet about a possible release date for DNF
