Electronic Arts signs next Oddworld game
At this years E3 show, the worlds largest games publisher Electronic Arts and Microsofts Xbox officially announced their cooperation for the near future to bring online gaming to the broad public. But the official announcement missed its effect a bit, seen as the news had already been leaked prior to E3.
The cooperation continues on another level as EA signed developershouse Oddworld Inhabitants, known for the whole series of Oddworld games.

Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS) announced today that it has signed a agreement with Oddworld Inhabitants® for the worldwide publishing rights to the next Oddworld game, the latest in the internationally acclaimed character-based action series. Slated for release in 2005, the new title will bring a unique action gaming experience to owners of the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system and Xbox® video game system from Microsoft.
Electronic Arts have been plagued by early leakes lately, seen as this news was not supposed to get announced untill later on today, but one of the bigger commercial sites -once again- broke the time-embargo and posted this news earlier than forseen.
