Empire: Total War to get an update

Sega today announced an update for their well-known strategy game Empire: Total War will be coming. Expect it downloadable as of June 22nd with several bugfixes present.

Multi-threading will be supported which should definitely improve performance for those with multi-core cpus. Those with a single core, however, should also see some improvement.

Creative Assembly is also going to add 14 new units which should bring more diversity, replace the general equivalents and give each faction a unique appearance on the battlefield.
